George Lewis is life long resident of northern New Mexico "puro norte". He was born (hand-delivered by parents and sleepy, old neighbor) and raised in the same valley in which he still resides, along with his baby boy Alan(hand-delivered by sleepy, old doctor and his father) and his woman, Denise.
George is a holder of numerous certificates in the electrical field, including but not limited to data/telecom install,cellular tower climbing and rescue. George also holds an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Electrical Technology, and is currently teaching Solar 110 at Northern New Mexico College.
Aurora Borealis Electric became a vision and immediately a reality in 2000. After completing his education by "thumbing rides" and surviving on bare necessaties, working in the field, as well as fighting forest fires for the federal government, George decided to own and operate his own buisness, and Voila! Aurora Borealis- Your local northern lights was born.
Since its inception, Aurora Borealis has been serving up northern New Mexico with its electrical needs proper-like, be it commercial, residential, industrial, solar grid tie , solar off grid,or just lighting for ambiance.
Aurora Borealis was introduced to the solar photovoltaic world in 2007 and has been running full speed happily into many areas of the field ever since and loving it.

George is a member of the following orginizations
N.M.S.E.A " New Mexico Solar Energy Assosiation"
I.A.O.E.I " International association of Electrical Inspectors"
S.E.I. " Solar Energy International"
George is also a contributing member of other groups such as
N.M.F.O.O.P "New Mexico fraternal order of police"
and there are others
George is also an alumni member of the Phi Thetta Kappa honor society.
